MTV just piles onto every bandwagon that passes it by; joy, sorrow, anything will do as long as it helps it snag eyeballs.

This time, though, the grudge is blunted by the fact that this is a tribute we all wanted to pay. At MTV's second O-music awards, the late Steve Jobs - the man who made digital music what it is today - will be honoured.
